Traveling to Saba
Saba has completely re-opened with no COVID entry requirements as of May 1st, 2022. Be certain to confirm your St. Maarten to Saba connection BEFORE booking your airfare into SXM as flights and ferry schedules change periodically. Winair currently is operating a minimum of 3 flights daily with a 4th flight added occassionally.
Location
Saba is the smallest island in the Dutch Caribbean, located at 17.63 and 63.23. You can get to Saba on a flight or by ferry but only via the island of St. Maarten (SXM, Princess Juliana Airport), 28 miles from Saba. SXM is a major hub with flights from the US and Europe. Daily air travel to and from St. Maarten is offered by American, Delta, United, Spirit, Jet Blue, Air France, KLM, COPA, and more.
Saba By AIr
Located 28 miles southwest of St. Maarten, Saba is reached by a short 12-minute flight on Windward Island Airways. Winair (airline code WM) provides 3-5 conveniently scheduled connecting flights to and from St. Maarten each day. The last flight each day is just before dark (there are no lights at the Saba airport) so be sure to book your major carrier flight that lands on SXM before 3 p.m. You can easily book your own Winair flight: fly-winair.sx to look at scheduling options and direct e-ticketing.
