Babylon was named for the hanging gardens feeling you get when you travel down an alley way with fans and sponges overlowingphoto courtesy Jim Mendenhall

Home to the "Hanging Gardens of Babylon" (or so Saba's original divemasters thought), check out the cave behind the heart for some up-close and personal occurrences with Porgy's and Black Jacks. Dramatic ledges host the Deepwater Sea Fanshost Deepwater Sea Fans as you head seaward from the mooring. Cross over several lava flows and sand chutes, looking out to the blue for the curious Caribbean Reef Shark who is often hanging around before returning to the mooring and heading towards shore where the coral encrusted boulders become larger and more numerous or exploring the Barrel Sponge "field". Opportunities to see Hawksbill Turtles, large Barracuda, Nurse Sharks and Morays are the norm at this site.
